wow, thanks to all for the great pics and explanations. this is exactly what i hoped for and you guys have come thru in spades. i just learned way more in the few minutes it took me to read the rest of this thread than i thought possible.
Gary, i had read that info on the Berlina Register and it's great. i wanted someone else to post links though since i didn't want to dominate the thread, especially since i'm just an observer right now, until i finally get a Giulia. and your car can never be overexposed. something about that color is quintessential 70s Alfa.
Bob, great explanation. i had always gotten confused by the differing designations and never understood them until you explained it. i kept wondering why some Supers had 4 headlights, while others only had 2, and the years never seemed to make sense. now i get it. thank you.
and thanks again to everyone who has posted. all the cars are beautiful. i keep drooling all over my keyboard, thank goodness for waterproof skins...
please post more, even if the model has already been posted. there are enough differences in options and colors that i don't think anyone will mind, especially not me.

Here's my 67 Super, a plain vanilla US version still with its original Calif plates. It has a 1750 in it, but you can't tell that from outside. With Euro cams and Webers, an excellent combo. It does have 14" 1750 wheels and hubcaps, rather than the original 15"s.
Plus one of my wife driving my Super, not looking where she's going.

Almost forgot!
Another, and maybe the most significant, difference between the Giulia 1300 Super and the TI was the change from the upright pedals to the hanging pedals and new brake system!!
regards
Bob

All the LHD Giulia sedans got the handing pedals with hydraulic clutch at the same time, didn't they? 1970? So it wouldn't matter which model as to that feature, but more which year?

Hi Andrew,
yes, I think that is generally right for all 105 series, but there were only so many different Giulia models built in 1970. According to my literature only the 1300 Super (115.09) and the Giulia Super (1600 - 105.26) were built with the hanging pedals in 1970. Giulia 1300's, 1300 ti's and the 1600 s's were built (or at least sold) in 1970 but, to the best of my knowledge, with the old pedal-brake-clutch arrangement. In 1969 all "1750" model 105 cars where equipped with the new pedals etc. According to my literature (Maurizio Tabucchi) the other (junior) versions followed in 1970, from experience, however, I know that this was not always the case.
regards
Bob

So many different versions
Great thread! Good to hear from so many happy Giulia owners.
Just recieved an article from an Italian magazine- " Dossier " ( ?? ) and they describe 10 different models of Giulia Sedans and 21 versions within those 10 !! Even lists the month and year in which each model had an update.
For example, the Giulia Super (105.26) is listed as changing specs. from the original in Feb. 1966, Sept. 1967, Feb. 1969, Dec. 1970, and April, 1972.
If I could read more Italian, I'm sure that more interresting facts could be discovered !!

You need to get this to an italian for translation! It would be great information to share with the BB!

Is this the Les Hurlock car? If so, I had a chance to see and drive it way back when...

Here's a Giulia from AROC 07 Detroit. The car was stunning and looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor.

Our 1966 Giulia Super
Here's some photos of our Giulia Super. I was lucky enought for my parents to buy it for me in 1981 as an early high school gradulation present! I'm just the 3rd owner. It's survived teenage street racing, and (even worse) many years of neglect sitting in our garage.
Paint looks pretty good considering that it's a 25-year old paint job, and that up until October the car was buried under boxes and a 17' canoe in my garage. I'll never let that happen again!
I'm saving up for replica TZ wheels and/or an interior color change to make it less monochromatic...

Two more photos
Here's two more photos. Hey, I've gotten the clock working reliably again!
Paint is BMW 320i Anthracite. The wheels are circa 1980 spider wheels, a very popular replacement for those tired of cleaning their Turbina wheels with a toothbrush...
