Orthomobile 2009
This weekend it was Orthomobile in the Belgian Ardennes. Despite the constant drizzle, which is an Ardennes patent, it was a fantastic drive through the woods, small villages and winding roads through the hills.
It would not be Belgium if all wasn't surrounded with the culinary specialities of the region.
The event consist of two separate events, one a hillclimb from la Roche to Samree where the road is closed off for the event.
And then a tour through the countryside we participated in.
Lots of different classic cars. From Ford GT 40 to Citroen 2CV.
The Giulia ti did very well, the harder pushed, the smoother it became.
Even de lack of the heaterfan was no problem as long as speed was in the car. (the rear window fan (yes!) worked flawlessly)

Looks great! Would love some photos of the rear window defroster. As to your heater fan, try just replacig the switch with any two position switch. That told me, at least, that my fan was fine and that i just needed a new switch!

The heater switch is actually in the heater/air valve knob.. the fan switch for the rear window fan is in the three button setup left side of the steering wheel. (opposed to later Giulias)
Hope to find time soon to take some pics of the rear fan. The Giulia is stored away from home....

Joost, any chance of a photo of the dash switches-the way you desribed them they appear different in layout from my `65 Ti even allowing for mine being rhd. My heater blower for example is one of the 3 rocker switches on the bottom of the dash along with instrument lights switch, and wipers.
I too am interested in this rear heater/blower unit which I have read about but not seen. Even my handbook (photocopy of original supplied by Alfa) doesnt mention and yet I know from material I have read that it was a factory accessory.
