East Bay jackpot... who won it?
So in today's SF craigslist was an ad for a '67 Giulia Super AND a '69 Berlina, both running and original, for $2500...for both!
'67 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super and '69 Berlina
I emailed about a half hour after the ad was posted, but as of 4pm today they are sold to someone else. Who won this lottery?

Dammit! I did too, of course... thanks for letting the rest of us know, I'm sure the seller is overwhelmed with emails (and *maybe* regretting selling at that price).

I can't complain, having already won one CL lottery, but this sure was a score.

The ad says the car sold to someone in the Walnut Creek / Pleasant Hill area...smells like Benji got to this before all of us! If he is the lucky guy, I hope he posts pictures.

I figured Ben too. Whoever it was you, can you email/post VINs, descriptions, etc? Seemed like a great deal.

super/berlina
hey guys! i'm not the only alfa-crazy guy who lives in the walnut creek/pleasant hill area!
ok! ok! ok! geeeezz! it's so difficult to keep a secret! i just got lucky and i have to admit i also got the better part of the deal but i still don't have the car (the seller is nice enough to keep the car until i'm able to free-up some space).
a friend and i are in it ... he's keeping the berlina and i get to keep the sup. it's easier said than done...i had to give up a few goodies in order to get the what i want and sweeten the deal for him!
i will post pics. as soon as i get it all cleaned and presentable!

Actually there was some doubt that it was you because the seller said it sold to a "nice guy".
Kidding, of course. Congrats on the purchase and very much looking forward to seeing pics of these barn finds.

nice guy
you are correct! because he actually met and dealt with my friend and i just got in the scenario afterwards...so the "nice guy" description was meant for him and not me! LOL!!!

I was wondering aloud if the deal was real and if it was how fast would a bb member would scoop it up. So what's the true condition of these finds?
