Nobody was referring to the Berlina's in the US or other part of the world. Both Super and Berlina are Giulia's, just simple is that. Many people identifies them as Giulia Super or Giulia Berlina 1750/2000.

Thats the same seller(alfaromeo57) that I spotted selling the 2 complete Berlina bodysides some time ago. I tried to translate the listing using bablefish as I don't "sprecken zi italiano" but it came up with a complete load of jibber jabber so I left it.
I'm looking, albeit casually at the moment, for replacemant panels for my Berlina, for a not to far in the future restoration project. So i'll be looking in on this thread from time to time to see whats new.

Does anyone know if the floors in the Super and Berlina are the same? I expect at least the rear floors would have to be longer in the Berlina, but are the front floors identical?

If they are then you could use the front part of a 105 coupe floor as well as I think the Super and coupe are the same basically. Calling akitaman, please enlighten us!

I don't think so, at least for early Giulias compared to Berlinas. A couple reasons:
* Berlina has longer wheelbase, mostly in the rear door area, so the rear floor area will be longer.
* 1970 and later Berlinas and Giulias have hanging pedals (pre-70 Giulias and Berlinas have floor pedals), so transition area from floor to firewall is probably different.
* Early Giulias have inner seat track on the tunnel, not the floor, whereas all Berlinas have all seat fittings on the floor. Plus outer seat fittings are different on Berlinas (nutplate in floor) compared to Giulias (hole in floor for 8mm stud to pass through)

Probably could be made to work, but I doubt it's a straight weld-in job.

Andrew

Gentlemen...here are some measurements (inches) that I took on my Super this afternoon. I hope that they are clear enough for those interested to understand. I am curious to know where the difference in length is between the Giulia TI/Super shell and that of the 1750/2000 Berlina...please let us all know!

Andrew: regarding your comment...judging by my observations of my naked floors and other pictures I have seen of floor mounted pedal assemblies somewhere else on this forum, I think that the floor sheet metal is the same for cars with hanging pedals and floor mounted pedals...the toe board/firewall is the part with the rectangular hole through it for the pedal box.

if needed I have new tail panels, inner and outer, new front panels, half or whole, new fenders, front, L and R. Some new RH sills. (or rocker covers, whatever)
New doors, several. Also new doorskins. All NOS, some slightly rusty. some parts cheap and plentiful, some parts EXPENSIVE. I just fitted my last two new rear fenders to a crash damaged 2000 berlina. I grabbed a new inner and outer panel as well.
In case of sending off to a foreign country, help me out, for I usually only sell parts in The Netherlands.
I believe that I have the greatest stock of NOS berlina sheetmetal ANYWHERE. Though I hope not.....
'Cause it's a lot, but not THAT much....

BTW, the complete side panels are in a friends barn right now....
It is indeed the complete side of the car, sill, A post, B post C post etc...
Front floor panels are Giulia, rear are different.
I have broken at least 10 Berlina's the past few years. They are always rotten in exactly the same places.
A Giulia sill will fit.
The lower fender that goes over the sill is easy to make if you cut out the offending part carefully and leave the swage line of the wheel.
The rear wheelarch cover can be made on a sheet metal folding machine with care quite easily, so you will have the 'line' in it.
hoods and trunklids rarely rust, thus easy. Front windows are same as Giulia.
Front door windows: Giulia.Quarterlights: Giulia.
Lights are available new, cheap, at www.arparts.nl (repro)
more questions?

Thumbs up

Thats another Alfa parts website saved to my favorites!!!
All I need now is pots of money and about 12 months off work to get stuck in and bring the green machine back to its former glory.

Rik, now you have a real car again you need to change your name back to Berlinista ;-)
I also have a NOS left front fender for a Berlina but shipping is not going to be easy or cheap I think
