Rocker and quarter panels, they are not available at Haeckner. I already checked with them.

Good site.. from what I have been able to put together using bablefish. Nice find btw Tarnow. Now I just need to hunt around and find the parts I need and see if they have them.

I guess I could try and fabricate the parts I need, or I could buy them. Develop a new skill in the way of metal working, or tac weld parts in place. I need to work out the total cost. Maybe it cost the same to take some metal working classes.

Tarnow, The French site looks promising, I don't "sprecken" but it looks like they have repro front wings/fenders and front panels.
Does anyone have pic's or experience of fitting the wolf steel sills/rockers and rear wings/fenders? Do the rear wings have the all important crease line above the wheel arch?
Does any one know if Guilia middle sills can be adapted to fit Berlinas? (the outers can be lengthened slightly to do the job apparently).
P.S. Somewhere out there someone has a pair of complete body sides (door appatures/A,B+C posts/sills) I saw them on ebay about 12/18 months ago just before I bought my Berlina and didn't realise how precious they were at the time. If I recall correctly they were around £160 each (bargain?) being sold somewhere in europe (poss. Greece) don't know what happened to them.

Well. So far no response from the German site or the French site. And Wolf Steel will get back to me on Friday because Allen is out till then. I did do some panel beating so things are looking better.

Bill S. Thanks for the offer on the rear panel you have, but the parts I need are exactly the parts that were removed for the rubber bumpers. I think right now my best bet is wolf steel. I am going to give that French site another try. Would APE have something like this?

If they have a Berlina shell sitting around, but that's fairly rare. Can't hurt to check with them though.

And more pictures.

Does anybody have any diagrams showing the body panels of the berlina? I cut a part of the upper fender out so I could make a piece to weld in, and behind it was more rust, (surprise surprise) and what looks like piece of box metal that is between the wheel well and the outer fender skin. Pictures to follow.

The parts manual does not break the body pieces down into this level of detail, or show closely how they fit together. And I think the general Alfa body manual doesn't go into this detail either. This is one of the top 2-3 rust spots on a Berlina; nice little trap they designed in there.

I hope a person experienced in this work can help. Maybe look at the pics Akitaman is posting re the Giulia resurrection (I think titled It Has a Past and a Future)?

Not to disagree too strongly, but for the 1750 Berlina (same body) the factory parts manual had a "body" section which shows every part that makes up the unit body, the 2000 berlina parts book should have the same detail

I meant that it doesn't show this level of detail in how it all fits together. That is, I wouldn't try to build a complete Berlina if all I had was a pile of body panels and the parts book as a guide.

come on Andrew, I know you're one of those guys who could build an Alfa from scratch, starting with the part book diagrams!

Behind the skin, the Berlina underbody is the same as a Giulia (except some length). I posted some pictures a while back on my rocker and floor re-do (search for my posts in the Super Lovers picture room). I will try to remember to upload the photos that I took of my other repair areas, if it will help.

Go look at the Akitaman Giulia project; he might be able to offer advice.

I didn't know they had so much in common with the Giulia's, I will go take a look and see if I find any inspiration.

Thanks again!

1750 & 2000 Berlina's are also called Giulia. Basically they were the new model of Giulia super and couple inches longer. Some people told me the 1750 or the 2000 were used by the police chief, versus the Giulia Super were used by the police.

Berlinas may have been known as Giulias in other countries (where the vast majority of them were sold), but in my experience they were never called Giulias in the US, either by Alfa from a marketing angle, in the magazines at the time, or by Alfisti or the general public.
