How low can you go.....
I just finished up a complete rebuild of the differential in the Super. It leaked horribly and was really the last unknown part on the car. Anyway, I installed 'red' springs in the car when first assembled and the rear was a bit too high for my taste. I decided to try another set of 'red' springs from the shelf that had been cut 2 inches (coil and half). The car sits level now. Is it too low or just right? I can't decide.
BTW, it handles well, rides fine, clears speed bumps, and is very driveable at this height, so it is really just a style issue. I'm interested in your collective thoughts. - Thanks.

It does not look bad at all, but I think it's just a tad too low for my taste

Looks good to me. My ground-scaper Berlina is too low for me (see photo; I didn't do it), but this car looks just fine.

Comparison?
Could you drop a photo into the post with the taller rear spring height? It would be great to compare in one location.
How could you not like your beautiful Giulia.

Mike - I think it's perfect mate. It certainly doesn't look lowered, if you get what I mean.

I think 1 inch higher at the back or 1 inch lower at the front. it reminds me of my old Berlina with sagging back springs. The super has a much better stance than the Berlina ready to pounce!

Looks very good to me too. If anything at all, I'd drop it down about 3/4 of an inch in the front too. That would probably make it look a tad more aggresive. After all, it is a sports car!
regards
Bob

Great looking Super . Given the above, leave it where it is. Supers drive better with an even rake or a slightly low tail, even if the look is not for everyone. I had mine with the nose low at one point and didn't like the way it drove one bit.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. The rear is about 1 1/2" lower with the short springs. The front came up a bit, too. I think I'll run it through the summer and see how I feel then. Below is a 'before' pic. You can see a lot more rear tire.
Fred: I know, but I can't seem to bring myself to lay on the ground and scrub the underside. Maybe someday. I did spend about 3 hours cleaning the diff casting. I'm amazed how clean it came.
