CWP Offset - 10/43 - workshop manual (diff)

Hi There -

just wondered if anyone has details pertaining to berlina 10/43 2litre limited slip diffs....

I'm after the hypoid offset for the crown and pinion wheel (see below image for example of hypoid offset)...

Is this contained within anyones workshop manual?

Thanks

I'm just looked in my factory diff manual and I don't see that it covers it. It might be contained in the factory engineering/technical characteristics pamphlet for the Berlina, if you can find one.

Thanks Andrew - bugger, thought the factory manual might cover it off......

This may be a tough one to find out (without the correct measuring tools anyway.....)

If anyone can help out in this dept. it'd be greatly appreciated

From memory, so don't quote me on it, the pinion mounting distance (or pinion depth as measured from the face) is 57mm plus/minus the figure (in hundredths of a millimeter) stamped on the pinion. The crownwheel distance is variable as the distance is determined by the crownwheel backlash.
I'll check the books tonight...
