There are now none in Australia.
That's a shame. It was for sale in the late 1990s initially for about $100K (so the story goes) and then offered for sale through Duttons in Melbourne for about $50K, from memory. After its time with Alec Mildren Racing it was sold to Peter Cazarro, a bodyworks (panelshop, for you Yanks) owner from Deloraine in Tasmania. He raced it in Tassie until rolling it at the hairpin at Symmons Plains circuit (N Tas) and it then languished in his workshop.

In January or early Feb 1975 he tried to auction the TI Super (still unrepaired) and a lovely LHD Giulietta Sprint that he owned. I was the only person present but didn't bid on either car, which I've always regretted ... Not sure what happened to the TI Super in between that and it going to WA and having a V8 installed (for sports sedan racing) but the Giulietta ended up in a secondhand caryard in Hobart and took a long time to sell - for about $1K. How times (and values!) change. Again, Viva la TI Super!

I had a friend from NJ who's dad had a TI Super, the car was in an accident and it eventually went to Tom Zatt in Wisconsin. Tom had it for sale after redoing it not sure how it came out. As far as the Car in Boulder. I am trying to remember it as I worked for the Alfa dealer. I did have a friend Dan that had a GT Junior that we had done a bunch of work on It had a snake on the hood. At the same time I bought a 64 TI which I still have. It has a TI Super Grill in it. I also have a pair of unused TI Super stainless bumpers any Idea of what they might be worth..

Giulia Super GTA Mag Article

About the same time I read this article on a Giulia Super built to GTA specs by a California tuner (from memory), there also seemed to be an article about a 64 Pontiac GTO being built by a GTO specialist and GTO parts business owner, where an early GTO was being tricked out. I remeber the brakes he used were special, oversize alumunium finned, drum brakes used in NASCAR (again from memory). If this GTO article helps anybody following this link source the magazine/article, please reply. Thanks.

Ron, can you post pics of the TI? I saw on your other posting you might be selling it?

TI Super grille should be the same as TI grille, other than having screens where the inner lights would go on the TI, but I think the grille piece itself is identical (don't have parts book in front of me though). Same with the bumpers; I believe they are identical. Most early TI bumpers I've seen were chrome, not stainless, but I haven't seen many TI Super bumpers.
