timining light placement

Sorry to ask such a stupid question, but, how do I use my timing light (on my spider) if the battery is in the trunk? (obviously the cables won't reach that far). Thanks:confused

You just need to hook it up to a 12V positive source. Use the coil + side, or the battery + cable to the starter or alternator. Ground can go to anywhere.
