Berlina dash cap

Is there any company that has dash caps for 1971 Berlinas? If not, can a cap from a GTV be trimmed to fit? They look similar.

I saw a dash cap for a 1750 Berlina on ebay the other day. They pop up from time to time. Do a search.

If you're talking about those ABS plastic repair caps, no, don't think anyone makes them for a Berlina. You should check out the "$30 dash repair" thread in the restoration section. Oh, and welcome to the AlfaBB and congratulations on your purchase of a great car!

A few 2000 Berlina dash caps, like the formed GTV and Spider caps, were made some years ago. I tried like heck about five years ago to get them remade, but it came to nought, largely because there just wasn't enough demand to get the dash cap place to care enough to shut down the line making Mustang and Camaro caps. They sell probably 60 of those an hours, whereas the interest I got was about 60 caps total.

If someone wants to try again, by all means. It requires providing a good donor dash as the model, which I'm not sure I'd expect ever to see again.

GTV and Spider caps are not very similar.

I think both Centerline and IAP have them.

No, they contract with dash places to do them. At one point I had the name and address of the place Centerline worked with, but I don't have it any longer.
