Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm probably going to pass, since its a little impractical right now (I know, I know) what with a GTV that needs a steering box, a 911 that needs a suspension pan and a TR6 with a recently rebuilt motor that I'm sorting.
I had considered buying it, switching the carbs, wheels and header to my GTV and putting steel wheels and SPICA back on the Berlina and then selling it.

Everybody says: everything has a price for it. Really? I don't beleive it when it cames from your heart and you 've spend your life and time for it. It is something very very personal. Thus, a Berlina or something else, for a man might worth for a 2500$ and for another 25.000$...And what about the fun the joy? There is exactly the point

Value of Berlina?

Too bad it has Webers? My 73 Berlina has been "Weberized" because Pat preferred them to the OEM. He "Weberized" everything he could legally. I like them, but then I don't have to deal with the upkeep of OEM or Webers --- just pay money.....I can certainly understand you guys having a preference when having to work on them.
Seems to me that fellow, Braden, wrote a book about Weber's, that might have something to do with his choice also; plus the car is smog exempt which helps.

...Spicazed!
Cheryl gave me an idea:
American fellows , use to weberize or to...dellortize their cars. I think, no problem with this in terms of originallity while there were at the same period time in Europe or elsewhere with carbs. I also guess it would be better for far western alfistis to go further by having complete the car in euro spec (of course there is the legal issue...). Now , what's the idea? Does anyone saw a ...spicazed car in Europe, Down under or elsewhere? Such a restoration project might be a great challenge for us in Europe, why not?

Vangelislaz: The 1750 Berlina interior is much much nicer than the 2000...
Beautiful dash, nicer wood veneer colour, simpler gauges, better seats with a nicer pattern... I think you're spending your time on the wrong model of Berlina

Two friends they speak each other, the one says: My friend, I love this woman, she is amazing, beautiful eyes, great appeal, sexy etc. The other says: Are you crazy? She is not all these you said, for me is unacceptable in any way! And the other comes: Ok, Take my eyes and my heart to see and feel what I mean...
Now, in real world, a berlina 2000 is the most different between 105 series cars. Thus, I'm so excited to be with a different kind of a ...girl, ha,ha

Some say that many of us, who like a lot to get involved with nice old cars, they are are doing so, 'cause when they are kids-youngs dont have the money to buy them or something similar. That old feeling will "tortured" them to the end of their life... It happens then these "kids" after many years find the way to decrease the gap between past memories and present. Thus, the restoring among our love to hand something always in our hands for fixing.
Many of us old Alfas are past icons. A 911 Porsche is an icon, no doubt. Personaly, I only like the shape of modern Alfas, but these are not exactly icons. But again, who knows after some years a new Alfa might be a new icon for the next generations. My son 13years old is a alfisti, no joke. Despite that, he always try to find ways to say about E30 BMW M3 (great car) or for a eg 911 year 1990-1993. Funny thing indeed, as I mentioned before about the old "kids", the way we grow up our prefferences...My son, looked at the 993 type of 911 Porsche and dont like it ( ...something wrong with the eyes/headlights, the old one is looking at you straight!). You see, generally a lot of fun. Restoration is for romantic people, people from the heart. If ever get the bug, aint no cure...

I realize some like Webers better but I like Spica better, and now that's it's well supported, unlike in the 70s and 80s, it's relatively simple to keep it working.

This NM car is not that one that's in the latest AROC Owner; that's still the beige car that sold a couple months ago.
If you're not buying this car, is the contact info available? A friend is looking for a Berlina and I'll pass the info on to him if it's for public consumption. Thanks

I totally agree with you. I also like the Berlina 2000. It also has the LSD which the 1750 do not have.
And maybe some people should be more careful when saying not so nice thing about the Berlina 2000. In my opinion both the 1750 and the 2000 has their own personality, its only people preference.
