Thumbs up Fitted car covers now available for Supers

FYI: The car cover company I get my covers from, now have the pattern for the fitted covers for Giulia Supers. I just orfdered two.

I have been using their fitted covers on my other cars and using the NOAH fabric, they work very well, protecting the cars, breathing out moisture, and they do not blow off in a wind storm, (with the belly stap tied).

The price, $176.00 for the supers, includes shipping, and I generally get them a week after ordering.

I have no affiliation with them, just a satisfied customer.

Batman,

I've got a Noah cover from Covercraft for the Giulia Ti (etc), never been out of the box. Cost me about £180 four years ago - PM me if you want to haggle!

Alex.

George,

Thanks for the pointer! I've got a Super coming from Belgium into the Tacoma, WA port in a couple more weeks. My Super will live in the garage, but unfortunately that's where our 3 cats spend a lot of time away from our 2 big dogs. The cats have put several scratches on other cars when they try to jump up on the hood or trunk and miss. Can't take that with the new Alfa so will be covering it in the garage.

They recommended I buy the Evolution material rather than NOAH because it is slightly thicker and a tighter weave--should be more cat claw resistant. So, they can make the cover in whatever material desired. The Evolution cover is $151 including shipping and I confirmed that the NOAH cover is still $176. Can't complain about that price. I was resigned to buying a generic sized cover (or one fitted to a more common small sedan) until a search found your post from a few months ago. Should show up at the door via UPS right when I'm getting ready to drive to Tacoma and pick up the Super

Cheers,
Gary

george,
Thanks for the heads-up! May we see this fine cover in action? (photo) my guilia lives outdoors, I was planning on just waxing the hell out of it, and keeping the underbody sealed. But maybe a fitted cover is in order. Does your car live outside?

One of my race cars sat outside for two years with one of these covers, and had no problems to the paint (base coat/clear coat), and no rust to the metal inside or on the engine. Cars stored outside must sit on concrete, as the ground will keep moisture under the car. (Maybe parked on a tarp would work??)

Another car stored in a non leaking enclosed trailer had rust on the steel nuts and bolts on the engine, even though the roof vent was open, and there was a 11o volt light bulb on to create air circulation.
