Red face Giulia Ti Super

Hello,

I'm searching informations about Giulia Ti Super, especially about competition.
I think that 501 cars made. How much cars (real cars, not copy) are available today?
Who can help me ?

Thanks.

Sorry for my poor english.

Here's one for sale though price seems a tad high

http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/find...lCarID=1721511

There used to be register with a website on the internet out of Ticino, Switzerland but I have been unable to locate the page recently. Relatively few real cars are left, with lots of replicas around.

There was a Giulia sedan register out of Australia, but I don't remember the name of the person. I haven't seen a newsletter in some time....

I believe Barry Edmunds out of Australia is doing the worldwide register while BB member Andrew has picked up the North America Register. Check out Andrew's site for more information.

I think Andrew's is mainly for 115 berlinas. Barry's was mainly for 105 berlinas, and at one time, Dave Mericle Jr.was the US liason to Barry's register....

TI Super Pic

Here is a picture of my dad's TI Super back in the 60's. It was Conrero prepped and won a few SCCA sedan races in the mid 60's. I wish I still had all the cars my parents sold (TZ-1, TI-super, Guilia and Guilietta spyders)

I hope this question isn't a bit out of context but, are the lime-green cam covers that can be seen on some Alfa twin-cams original, or something that was done in period?

for some reason some engine tuners used to paint their cam covers to give it a personal touch, like Conrero ,Balduzzi, Chiapparini and Facetti, not original but it is period

They are the trademark of a well-known Italian tuning shop (though I forget which one right now , maybe Facetti) that used to prep a lot of Scuderia Portello cars. The first time I saw this color was in the early 80's.

The information on my site (berlinaregister.com) is mainly about Berlinas, but I handle the North American Giulia Sedan Register in addition to the worldwide Berlina Register, and the NA Giulia list is on the site.

Realistically, I have very little info on specific TI Supers (I list only four in the US on the Register); Barry Edmunds in Australia probably has more, and Dave Mericle Jr, who used to do the Giulia Register with Barry, probably has lots of info, but he hasn't been involved for some time.

Andrew

TI Super

Last I heard, which was 3 or 4 years ago, Tom Zat still has a TI Super that ran at Sebring, and has a monosleeve motor for it. He wants big money for it, and it would have to be totally done over.
