Terry,
Mine is not like that one. The "bars" are part of the grill itself with the "heart" part being a separable piece. When I get a chance, I'll post a picture.
Thanks for the info on the chroming shop. I got a local quote of about $250 for the entire grill (which may actual be a polish job, not a re-chrome). As well, they wanted about $75 per piece for the smaller stuff (mirror, side indicator spear)...not sure if that is high or not.
Thanks.

Hi Frank,
I think $75 apiece is about what repro spears cost from Hurtienne.

Thanks Bill. I'll check them. I managed to find a NOS spear for the passenger side on Ebay. Also, my mirror is a door-mount Lucas--have seen similar ones, not exactly the same, but close.
How are your western MD Alfas doing?

I bought my two-screw attachment Lucas mirror from Moss Motors in Goleta, CA, and it's a reasonable repro piece of the original, though the quality is not top-notch. The fitment is the same though.

Well the Berlina is running but I haven't put it on the road yet (except to drive it about a mile from where I was storing it). The Duetto is officially off the road, not just for the winter but for a clutch, steering box, tranny and probably a refreshed 1750 engine. The Super is a basket case. Soooo.... I'm currently without an Alfa driver. Need to get busy but it's cccccold out there!

Bill,
Sounds like the Berlina is getting close! It hit about about 62 degrees down this--didn't get the Spider out but did paint a wheel.

Terry,
See attached--it's a two-piece configuration. I could not locate a P/N on the grill but I still have some more cleaning to go--it may be underneath some grime.
