Windshield Molding

1973 Berlina...The car came with the windshield molding glued in with silicone sealer. Looks like the clear sealer for home use
Everyone asks me where the clips are. It doesn"t look to me like there ever were any clips. The molding must just glue on, right? With something like windshield glue, right?

For a glued in windshield, the trim is a half-moon in cross section just glues on top of the glass with a thick tar-like glue. This trim is four pieces, if I remember right, with small stainless caps in the center top, center bottom, and lower corners. Kinda working from memory on this.

For a gasketed windshield, the trim is a curved T-section that presses into a groove in the rubber gasket.
