Berlina Fever

Everyone is suddenly Berlina crazy. Here are a couple in the shop for restoration. Seeing all these things makes me want one too!

Berlinas are the best, what do you expect! By the way, love the Giallo F355... thats my lotto car, not a 430/360/550/575 or anything - just a Giallo F355 F1 GTS with black OZ wheels

Very cool! Looks like a '69 (fender mounted booster) and a '74 (rubber bumpers). Nice to know they'll be attended to instead of parted out for the carbs! Maybe those days are behind us.

these are good times again for the 105's-back in the day the words berlina and restoration were not used in the same sentence.

You guys are making me feel better for spending too much for mine.
Tomorrow I should find out what cam I got, then decided what valve lash to set, then, throw the head on and I should be Berlinaed.

I used to sell cars back in the 80's and there was a phrase called UPSIDE DOWN which of course refers to the fact that someone owes more on the car than the car is worth. I'm extremely upside down in my '69 Berlina, but it sure is a spectacular ride..buckets of fun.

Great to see so many Berlina's being brought back to life!!

Do you have VINS on these cars? Maybe I already have them on the Register?

No, I didn't write them down. The 74 with the rubber bumpers was bought on eBay a last week or couple weeks ago. I'll get the numbers for you next week.

Thanks. Nice to see people treating their Berlinas better. The 74 might be the one from Berkeley? If so, I know of it and used to own it.

Thanks, appreciate it. If you want to get on the Berlina Register for email newsletters, send me your name and email address.

The 74 is the ebay Berkeley car I was thinking of. I ran the license plate on the DMV website's smog history and came up with its VIN. The car is somewhat sadder than when I owned it, but it was only $1130 on ebay. Seemed like a reasonable deal by today's standards.
