Can someone tell me about these crazy floor mat/carpet sets that I am seeing around the BB? They're striped on pink and beige. I've seen them in Supers and Berlinas and in a Fulvia elsewhere on the BB. I have only seen them in LHD cars though. Interesting... are they aftermarket?

You mean like the ones in 101/105 guy's Super? I saw an older Spider on ebay with them recently and I think the indication was that they were Italian (or at least European) aftermarket but I have no idea what era they were made in. They're definately in the "wonderfully wacky" catagory.

Hi guys. I believe that they are dealer installed aftermarket "winter mats" from when the cars were sold new in Italy.
Some NOS sets still show up on ebay.it

Yes, it was funny! I'm reading your thread.......Berlina, Giorgio, Mass, hmmmmm...then I looked at the box of seatbelts! You must have mounted some new retractable types, because the ones I got will be perfect in the '70 1600 S! By the way, they really are 3 point belts!
And the floor matts are Italian dealer items installed in the new Alfas. Just bought the set below from e-bay.it, NOS. Red w/ black stripes. They also came in tan, black, grey that I know of.

101/105, you are right I don't know why I kept saying 2 points.............I see in the photo you are in need of pedal and clutch pads. I have the original pads from Alfa and I will be getting some more from Italy, I usually list them on ebay.
By the way very nice car.....
Giorgio

Hi Haig!
Your Berlina is getting nicer and nicer.
If you upgrade the chassis as well you will find that the Berlina is a very nice racing car.
Here I am racing with my Berlina.
Maybe it will inspire you?
