This August....I Decided to drive the Berlina...to the Concorso italiano...in Monterey...Other friends of mine will also be in similar Sedans....I encourage you to join us....for the Caravan drive....should you decide....let me know.

I advise you not to do that; only lowering the front of this lovely looking Berlina 1750.
It will appear that the car leans forward.
If you want to lower the car do it both back and front equally.

ZZ jr.........this lovely looking berlina...will be perfectly balanced...when i get the time to doing it correctly....as it is only in an experimental stage....thanks for that....

Why no centre caps on the front wheels of the Berlina?
Beautiful job of restoring your Berlina BTW. I'd like to think i could do mine someday when it really needs the metal surgery side of things sorting. Until then i'll just keep on driving it.
Off to SpaItalia in Belgium at the end of june, can't wait, should be a good adventure.

Hi Ian,
Yes...they are diferent...the berlina wheels are period panasports with a lip...15 inch wheel..i had to refinish them a while back...they also have a 28 mm offset...which varies in diameter for the shallow center cap....as the front ones as you noticed will not fit..so i have to somehow re-create an extention...64mm dia..verses 58 for the regular panasports..so the caps fit....a machine shop skill...still awaiting for that detail..
As for the GTV....center caps....they are a standard..6 by 15 with a 22 mm offset....center caps are deep ...and available.
Those pana's...Look great on your berlina....looks aggressive enough...cheers.

Thanks Haig, I'm pleased with the look and stance of the car especially as its still on stock springs . The wheels were "pre-enjoyed" (second hand) but in as new condition and came wrapped in Toyo Proxes T1-S tyres that had hardly been used. They look like Rota's but are infact made by Compomotive, who's factory is just down the road from me in Wolverhampton . They make the car feel way different (a little heavy) at low/town traffic speeds, but much more stable at motorway cruising speeds 70-80MPH. They are 7x15 ET35 rims and the tyres are 205/55 r15's.
What pressures are you guys with similar wheel/tyre sizes running on?
At the mo' i'm experimenting with 30 Psi front and 28Psi rear. This seems to have reduced some of the heaviness without making it feel light at speed.
