I was drifting my Berlina pretty well (very balanced car) at the Streets of Willow skidpad at an AROSC TT school last week, though the skidpad was about half wet from the rain. Fun, but sorry no video.

Berlina 2000 on Youtube
Here's a linky for my latest offering on "the tube". Its my first attempt at using windows movie maker so excuse the simplicity/poor quality .
Enjoy.....

The car looks right at home. What's with the race car nose hanging? You have a racing past we don't know about?

Great 1750 restoration! I'm in the middle of a similar project at the moment. Are those panasports 14" or 15"? And what tyres (sorry tires!) are you running?

Damo 105 ,
This detail is for you.....panasports are 15''....and tires are KUMHO...195/55R 15 85V...
and what better way to confirm that...here are a couple of closeups..
Small detail will follow...we are not done......enjoy..mate.

Thanks for the info. Do you have any trouble with clearance for the 195s under the rear arches?
I bought a set of 15x7" GTA replica rims from Alfaholics, which have an offset of 35 to fit under the rear arch, and am undecided if I should go 185 or 195 tyre. I'd prefer 195 so am interested to hear if you've had any problems.
My car will be lowered a fair bit also, I bought the Alfaholics fast road suspension kit which I'm anticipating will lower the car 1.5-2"

Berlina restoration....plus...plus...
Damien,
if you are to use your berlina on a track...you can roll the fender...a good body shop guy can do this for you....however, if you are doing it my way...it needs a careful and maticulus approach...dont forget you mentioned the alfaholics kit...which is 7'' not 6 like mine...look at these two photos...and notice the clever ...almost invisible arch..above the wheel area.not easy..its almost a federal case....if you like...and has to be done by a good body man...to keep the original ...and almost factory look...,(ANOTHER TOPIC)
another words...its done so well.....that you can walk by it and never notice it,..heres a few more takes...hope this will help....
Somehow i knew all these questions will come up...so i did my homework early....hope this helps...best of luck....H.

Damien.......I forgot....yes..you will have clearance issues...if you are using 195..es...especially a 7''....wheel and a 35mm..offset...mine are 30..mm i believe...so we had to go to plan b......consult your body guy...he should know the stuff....
cheers.
