I've caught the fever!
This year I've been fortunate enough to acquire two Berlinas. They are really neat cars.

The first car (w/ bumpers) looks familiar... She's spent first 34 years of her life in Albuquerque, NM hasn't she ? I test drove her back in march and yes she was totally awesome but alas, I realized that I am a Spider guy, at least for now (go figure... I am still in my 20's). I don't feel mature enough to be a Berlina owner just yet.

You have sharp eyes. I did purchase the beige 73 in NM. In fact I drove it back 1700+ miles to Wisconsin. By the time I got back I was hooked!

Welcome Randy! What a nice pair of Berlinas. It's hard to find them looking that good. I'll send you a crusty grille that you can rob the top slat from for the 2nd car in your pictures just for the cost of shipping: $10. That, or you can bid on the really nice one I have on ebay right now:
eBay Motors: Alfa Romeo Berlina Grille, Super Nuova Grill (item 150181970184 end time Nov-18-07 17:21:00 PST)
Sorry 'bout the shameless plug but I figure somebody here can use it.

Bill,
That centre grille will not fit a Giulia Super Nuova. The top, (where yours has the extra two pieces that stick out backward) has to have a cut-away section to fit into the Nuova's plastic grille.

Thanks Malcom, I'll update and correct the ad. Could it be easily modified to fit?

Bill,
I am not sure if it can, but am sure it somehow can be modified.

it can, file off the two 'prongs' on top of the unit and it will fit right on.

Your never too young for a Berlina, A friend of mine had one when he was 20 back in 1985 and it was quite somethng back then. I was only 15 at the time and recall with fondness how this "unknown to many" Italian saloon car would waste the sporty hothatch types in any traffic light grandprix. Thats what got me hooked and where it all started.....
