Hello Andrew,

Its a nice site the register! I am very glad with the car, i searched 3 years for a good and no rust Berlina. Its very difficult in rainy Holland...

can you give me an emailadres?

I send already this week an email to the register of: Berlina Register

Its this car, the car is already in the register but under another name:

chassisnumber: AR*1769447*
year: 1970
type: 1750
color: blue holl
interior: blue (its now white)
owner: Michael Barker
country: Netherlands
km: 43,300

I am the second owner after Michael Barker. The km is at this moment 53010 km and the interior is now white from a 2000. The motornumber i must look for...

I don't know why they have the letter either, but all the AR00548 engines have a letter in that location. Go to http://www.berlinaregister.com/berweb.htm and review the engine number column.

A cry for Berlina help from the rust belt

I rescued this '74 from oblivion. I have begun the body repair process. The car has no rust damage underneath, it is all on the outside. This is a very repairable car. Someone stored this car outdoors in Maryland with a blue plastic tarp on it. Those tarps trap moisture quite effectively. Very complete, good running car with only about 60,000 miles. I need to weld in a new piece on the top of the right fender where the fender mates to the windshield. Does anyone have a fender that they could cut that piece out of?
Your help will be much appreciated. Please contact me at rboelens@sbcglobal.net
Thanks!

Thanks

Berlina Register Info

Hi Andrew,
You are all over this Berlina stuff! I sent you the register info a couple of years ago when I first got the car. Thanks for your quick reply.

Hi Bob,
Good luck with the project! That piece is going to be hard to find in decent shape. Check out Jeff McNeill's resto site where he fabricates that piece for a GTV. Where in Maryland did you find the car? How'd I miss it?

About that windshield. Know anybody that's coming through Hagerstown on the way to the convention that might pick it up? Or do you need it before then?

Berlina Parts

Bill,
I don't know how you missed it. I bought in on E BAY a couple of years ago. I will check with your suggested sources, Thanks.
As far as the windshield is concerned I do not know of anyone that might be able to transport it. Maybe I should consider building a box and sending it to you. The GTV6 windshield that I shipped a couple of weeks ago was only about $25 to ship.

When i was a young lad i worked for my uncle's bodyshop in italy, my first day at work i was 11 I ws ordered to wash a 1750 berlina green with biege interior, I used sit next to the idling engine, my uncle would take out the air filter and go for a full throttle spin the sound is still in my ears..If I could find one I'd push back to boston.
MHO I think this was one the most beautiful alfa's produced very "sexy" in a police uniform
