Parting Berlina

From CL. Is this an LA area code? Love these detailed ads.

I sent an email and got no response. Did anyone call? The location is stated (in similarly thorough detail) as 'beach'.

This is the same Long Beach berlina that was in a LA CL ad last week or so. I have my order in for a few parts.

The ad is back on Craigslist for a third + time in the past 30 days, this time in Long Beach, along with 7 other ads for a wide variety of cars, including a couple of early 70's GTV's. One $6000 GTV is quite nice looking in the photo. First Berlina ad asked $600 for entire car and subsequent ads are for parts.
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/car/188437151.html is his latest posting.

I've talked to a quite pleasant and knowlegable person, Grant I guess, several times at the listed phone #, but have yet to get a usable description or any price for any items I ask about over the past 2 weeks. The ads for these cars seem to show up on a variety of free websites, besides CL. The poster could be an agent rather than an owner, so I suppose I probably should give up trying to do business via phone and mail, as some risk may be involved, not to mention the time and call costs. I would be interested in hearing how it went, if someone actually buys some of these CL offerings from this seller, though. I do need a few Berlina specific parts.

I have purchased parts from Grant in the past. he has a shop in Long Beach with a slew of interesting cars. He seems to be very busy, maybe a one man operation, so it can be difficult to coordinate; otherwise very nice, straightforward guy.

Thanks! Guess I should be patient and wait for the next call, that hopefully has more info than the last ones. Or better yet, drive through on the way to Yuma this winter!
