new suspension kit in my super

I did a little modification on my 1972 super 1.6
- new springs (about 2 inches lower, front 200kg - 440 lbs)
- front shock absorbers Bilstein B6 gas pressure
- new reaction triangle with pu bushing on differential

driving is much more better around corners, the giulia has now minimal body roll

From a race mechanic in germany. He takes them also for Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Hi Klaus,
I have a similar set up. One thing my research has confirmed is that The rebound on the Bilstein needs to be changed and that you will have to strengthen the front of the car and put in gussets to give strengthen the top front shocktower. Love the look of the car. I have no doubt it will be a different car with this kit. The Turbina wheels look better on Berlinas' than GTV's, Yours is a credit to you. Keep looking after her.
Regards
Jim

Congratulations on the new setup, looks good.

I had something similar from Eibach but the front was not stiffen enough. I bought front springs (full race) from Performatek and anti roll bar 29 mm, the result is great for me (not really for passengers who feel every small stone on the road :-)).

Enjoy.
