Giulia 1300 Super dash

Hi fellas, and fellaresses. My 1st post on the board after many months of browsing and reading. You bunch are a cool bunch

I have a '74 Giulia 1300 Super, dash has the wiper and blower switches just below the radio hole, which I suspect to be incorrect, and thus would love to see pictures of various dashes. I am conscidering redoing the whole thing, but not sure what is correct. I also have a centre console by the handbrake, and not soo sure about it's originality.

Attached is the pic as taken in the 'barn' when this baby was discovered 6 months ago.

Your car has must have a long central console which ends just before the gear lever carrying three switches: for the blower, for illumination (dimmer switch not variable0 and for the wipers. I bet somehow the plastic console around these switches had be broken and the PO moved the switches to the dash. Dimmer switch was left unconnected or might be somewhere waiting to find it...So, yes, the switches must go from the dash! This means now you have the first issue, a destroyed dash trim...as I see it was already vandalized since there is a hole for a radio there without putting there the correct alfa cover. So good luck! It is not such a big deal to fix them up. All these are so common problems to any alfisti here.

where this car located , UK, down Under? I have the same , must be a Giulia super 1300 1971-1973 RHD?

Cheers broer., l am in sunny South of Afrika. Hopefully l will be able to answer the year model confidently once l have sent the verification request. The PO said 74.
