HELP; Repair or Replace 67 Guilia Fuel tank?

I have rust and a small leak at the base of the tank; Can I repair it or is it better to replace. Is there a product to put inside the tank, POR, EASTWOOD,...ECT. If anyone has an idea or another tank that would be great.

Folks do repair them successfully, but you can also get a good used period tank from another Giulia, GTV, or Duetto, and change the filler neck. You can also use a good later GTV, Berlina, or Spider tank by changing the filler neck and blocking off the SPICA inlet and outlet and using the Giulia sending unit, with its outlet. APE probably has some of these. My Super got a new tank from a 67 Duetto some years ago, with the original Giulia filler welded on.
