P.S. --

I was sitting here thinking of how my old '67 GTV ran, and I don't remember the same pressure activity with it. The guage would sit at 55 psi above 2000 rpm at any temp, and at idle, it would drop a bit, but not anywhere near 0.

Are there different types of pumps for the 1600 vs. the 1750? I know Alfa was famous for sometimes changing suppliers as a model run went down the assembly line, but would oil pumps fall in that category?
