No Biscone stuff here, just stock '68 Super.
Even with the rust it's an amazing survivor. That is all original upholstry and rubber trim.
The last pic is with Roland and the previous owner in Koln, Germany......

My Giulia - Lucky nr 13
A 1971 Giulia Super originally fitted with the 1300-engine, but has been upgraded to the 2-litre with twin 40mm Dellorto-carbs and some sharper cams.
Thought about selling it, but I can never decide...

Nice Super Gunnar !
Been thinking about trying Delorto carbs, but don't know much about them....
What model carbs do you have on your Giulia ?

Dellorto carbs are a little more difficult to adjust than Webers, but once correct the acceleration part is way better than that of a Weber. Otherwise there is no difference.

can't help you there, i'm having a hard enough time myself. the only thing keeping me from giving in to the temptation is the lack of funds to buy the Super i really want.

You can count on Roland to knock off anything that wasn't done right. He is a true friend of Alfa enthusiasts. Buying and selling collector's cars "inside the group" has always been the way the best cars change hands and now we can do it globally. Cool.
With so many Supers floating around Austin we're going to have to form a sub-directory of the club just for Supers! We may actually repeat something that I witnessed several years ago and have never seen anywhere else: I pulled up to a 4 way stop intersection and found 3 other Alfas waiting for the lights to change. With the great back roads leading from your house into town running errands is going to be a lot of fun.

I like instrument cluster picture, here's my Super just into fifth gear merging into Los Angeles freeway traffic. With the error corrections, and calculations using those roadside speed indicators as a reference, that's about 75mph indicated.

Well, Bob, you know your only route to dispensation is to speak to St. Roland ASAP. Think of all the little Supers that need homes. Surely, you can accept one little Super and take it to Vancouver.
