Nice choice Bob, alas I think this is the one I will end up using on the Super, to complete off the image I am trying to create with the car. My Super is a '69 model, but due to rust (lots of it) and a stuffed interior, it is being re-created as a '67 lookalike (complete with earlier doors, doorcards/grab handles etc, seats (recovered in connolly leather), correct earlier instruments, no consol etc). Still need an early alloy grill, rather than the late 5 bar stainless steel and mesh one.
I had the original '67 alloy and bakelite Alfa (Nardi) wheel recovered in leather, with no padding underneath to keep its early feel/size but to make it a little more pleasant to the touch in both cold and warm conditions.
Batman (Dave), I am not sure I can add much helpful info re loading photos, I know it is possible to reduce the size of photos, my photo was loaded as a jpeg file, or alternatively if you take the photo using low rather than high resolution this also can help. Hopefully someone else can better advise on such technical matters. Would be nice to see some pics of your Ti. Dave

Agree - but there is a picture of the original a bit further down the page. I opted for the rNardi wheel for a better feel than the large diameter one...

Steering wheels
Thanks Perholmen,
I guess I,ll keep that steering on for while since its original. Might shoe horn the thicker wood rimmed wheel by Hellebore later because of its much nicer grip...hope it will be easy to remove. Alfa was never really consistent but really liked the wooden rimmed ones with a black plastic centre and a silver badge almost like a 1750 GTV but cant find one though. Heres some pix pf your cars' brethen also with 2 liter lump.
Thanks

Happy motoring !

Subsequently, I have just put in a smaller diameter steering wheel, a Nardi replica, and getting the original wheel off was almost impossible.
So, my conclusion is that it is the original wheel based on above.
Just for info, pls find a couple of pictures from the garage where she is in hibernation - only another 6 weeks before insurance is valid again and I can enjoy some motoring.
And notice the nice radio blend plate which I sourced through the AlfaBB network.

I love the color of your car. I have a '67 Super that is close to completion and have been thinking about using similar color. What is the color of your car and is it an Alfa factory color? Also, is that enamel paint?

AR728 Grigio Medio met. - Medium Grey Met.
Thanks for the comment - it is indeed an original Alfa colour and I find it suits the car really well. The car was resprayed a couple of years ago and I cannot tell you what type of paint it is. Interesting thing was that when I got the car up from Italy, the original undrcover paint was still in place - and there was not a single sight of rust anywhere. On the outer edges near the sills, it is still possible to see the transition between the original silver paint and the original undercoat. Only thing that need fixing was on of the driver seats bolts that has loosene and widened the original mounting hole - probably through rigours driving

perholem...The loose drivers seat bolt seems to be a weak spot, as I have found the same issue in two Supers that I have owned. During my current restoration I decided to reinforce the area on both front drivers seats with 1/8" steel plate. That Grigio Medio color is beautiful.
