It's not that hard to remove the Ring, of frame, as it's just spotwelded to the tunnel.
You could also simply cut the standing bit and leave the spotwelded bit on the tunnel, and drill 4 small holes...

Hi Enrique, your car-currently- requires a series 2 larger plastic cover.
The 1st series cars use 2 separate tunnel rubber boots, 1 directy on the transmission, and the other on top of the metal...

Tom, the 81 is exact as the original. It's the exact same tube on stem design and diameter. Same thickness of material too.
Make sure you order plenty gripping clips.
And at a fraction of the cost...

There's a big difference between driving pure snow, which is basically the same as driving in the rain, or our salt infested semi winter roads...

I'd drive pure snow in a rwd coupe anytime :grin2:

I recently did a conversion on my '71 Giulia street rod and changed it to '65 look.

I did weld the square holes under the bonnet shut, but I don't think they'd be too present if you left them...

I doubt if you can add a spacer on the rear of a Giulia where space is already a issue.

195 is just pretty wide for the rear.
