Brilliant! wonderful cars and great consistency in preparation and driving. Well done! I hope one day to watch the 24hours live. I can't imagine how intense racing at the 'ring is.. it's already pretty mind numbing just driving it on tourist days.
I've been going to the ring on tourist days since 2001, usually 5 or 6 times in the season, and managed to get my BTG time down to 9:01 and that was in a 295HP 2005 Subaru WRX which was fast road / light track use modified (including enormous StopTech brakes). But even then, every lap, when you mentally clock up all the mistakes you made, where you apex early.. where you didn't brake later.. where you braked too late :O where you didn't trust the car.. where you should have overtaken.. and where you shouldn't have :O where you were watching the mirrors too much and getting intimated. I doubt I'd really learn it, if I drove a 1000 laps there.
I've also driven Zolder, Zandvoort, Goodwood, Anglesey, Croft and Spa - but for sheer terror - it's got to be the green hell.
