He said he loaded it up with a "hit and miss engine" , no, not an Alfa, a big 250 lb rock, and a bunch of bales of shingles, and he did loose a mpg - it went to 16.

Last trip to Europe, over 1.5 Euro per liter, almost 4 liter per gallon, about $1.50 per Euro or, violla, over $9.0 per gallon. Same fuel. Much of that is taxes. Americans have gotten way too comfortable with cheap gasoline. Alfas will rock with MPG and fun/$$. I've been getting over 26 MPG on high rev twisty and open road driving with a stock 1750.

LOL, no these aren't the cheapest gas prices here, but its insane that over the hill, it is cheaper.
