Hello Alfisti,
I thought it would be fun to have a thread dedicated to our cars and driving watches. Im a bit of a watch aficionado, and of course an Alfista so 2 +2=4!

Since 1967 I only wear my GMT Master...the same as your 1st. picture shows. I never take it off(except the few of times I've sent it to Rolex for servicing). Living
down here in So.Florida the sun fades the 'bezel-insert' so I've gone w/ the black-only insert. It hasn't faded yet, & its been almost 6 years!

lol. A quartz is always more accurate. A fine tuned rolex or omega keep excellent time. Both of mine are vintage, 1970 and 1967. I have had them cleaned and serviced and they run great. Maybe your rolex is in need of a tune up....BTW an Italian type tune up doesn't work :)
