Allow me to present the car I'll be driving this season, a somewhat 'strictly business' Alfetta.




Notice the TS engine. Other mods include TS box and outboard rear brakes.
Aluminum hood, superlight! Who cares about looks?




Ah yes, the odd rim and battle scars...
You can see this car has been around for a while, bodycolor is 'John Deere Green with John Deere Yellow roof' all allplied with a paintbrush of course.




Step into my office.
We got a little carried away and bought a new steering wheel, I couldn't step on the brakes with the old one in place so it was necessary.
BTW. Thas me in the driverseat and the owner of the car is reflected in the rear door window.

Do I look small? Well I'm 1.89m long (~6'3") but the seat it nice and low, just the way I like it.

So, any comments? Flamings?

Great looking race car. I even like the paint scheme. She looks ALL business. When you start winning races with her, everyone will remember the John Deere green Alfetta!

Hey, playing on emotions and acting pathetic worked!

I'll keep you posted, 9/5 I'll be in the first race and 22/5 the second (actually at Anderstorp where the Brabham/Alfa F1 car, the fancar, still holds the lap record.)

I'm going under the knife tomorrow and hopefully I'll be at full strength in time.

Whats the history of the car? what is the owner driving this year?

CAR (Club Alfa Romeo Svezia) Corsa, it's kind of a mix between Roadsport and Modsport rules.
From what I understand the car is built for endurance racing in a local series in Anderstorp, fuel restrictions so standard engine.
The owner is too busy to take the license and drive so I'm "renting" it this season, suits me fine as I'm kind of in a car-vacuum right now.

The knife? Well, actually a consultation with the cheif of surgery, I'm fcuked...
Surgery after the summer, removal of three large bones in the right hand and loss of about 50% mobility.

On the bright side I got recognition from the local parts dealer in a cool way:

As a matter of fact, punks love alfas - there was a neo-famouse girl groupe oout of Boston called "Alfa Romeo"; ocasionaly, due to nuances of the drug trade, they are forced to Porscge's (I sam a poor artist and sliped the noose) - they buy the Butzi 914.
