Sad to see it go but it's the old RML GTV on the cover of all their electronic ignition boxes. I heard it had the old ITB record at Daytona. The car was involved in a heavy accident at Willow Springs....about 1/2" - 1" think in bondo all the way around so, I don't feel so bad turning it into scrap metal.

Still breaks my heart. Looks like a clean car compared to Michigan cars. That would have made a great autocrosser or Challenge car . Why Why Why? The humanity, oh well. Time for another egg nog.

Smashed GTV6

WARNING - Manhattan driving rules are different, cars brake at green lights! Who knew? That coupled with Alfa Romeo's infamous front dive on braking did by baby in on 34th in Manhattan. Of course the other car had no damage at all

Just a follow up on that yellow gtv/4 i posted. I actually saw it on the road today, and it is mechanically 100% stock, if not slower. And it looks worse in person, i was glad i wasnt driving mine at the time.

It's not just Alfas that take the nose dive. I think, just about any stock street car will take a nose dive when the driver mashes on the brakes. When I have to brake hard, or panic stop, I let off the brakes just before I come to a complete stop (or hit something). This gives the front of the car a little time to rebound.

Sorry for your misfortune.

Must have been rear-ended.
