That's a sad ending for a Duetto.
Looks like it was relatively free of Bondo[bog].
Stripping the parts, Anthony?

ME, me, me.......
Anthony,
Wow, it was hit hard
However, always concerned about recycling, it does look like a great parts car. What are your plans for it?

It belongs to a customer. He has two other Duetto project cars so once they're done, he is gonna sell off whatever is left over. I'll post somewhere when that time comes.

im not sure, its down the road from my uni, i think they are air scoops that do nothing. "apparently" its close to show car status, buts its had nothing really done to it.

the advert in the trading post reads
"Alfa Romeo GTV 1985 Dark Yellow, Coupe Manual, So many modifications Almost a show car, 05 reg, alloys, sun roof, FGR-340 $5999"
they wanted something like 13k for it when they first put in up for sale.

Hmmm...if those are indeed functional air scoops, then they are well-placed to feed cool air to the air intakes and to help cool the exhaust manifold. Actually, I knd of like the way it looks. It's a bit unusual, and not to my personal tastes, but hey...at least someone is taking care of that car and making it his/her own, without making it all "bling-bling". That car actually looks like it is designed more for "go" than "show".
Cheers,
