Please tell us more about the photo - how old, which circuit, etc.

Rex Chalmers built this car in 1992 and used the Benetton F1 green for it.
The picture was taken in the 2007 Detroit National convention at the Waterford race track. I managed to get second place in the time trials behind Mike Besic .
Why go through the restoration if you can buy this one - PM me if interested .
Cheers!!!!!!!!

Anthony,
I actually have all the pictures that Rex sent when he was building the car, then when he raced it. Of course the pictures of when we had it in Mexico and the pictures of today at Road America, Mid Ohio, Grattan, the Detroit Convention.......etc...
I am working on getting all of the pictures I have into one of those digital picture frames so that I can enjoy all the pictures of my and other race cars.
I am planning on going to the convention, but with no car ...............I may bring the car since the pressure is building up ........I am getting e-mails and people are starting to pressure me...............

Eliseo, if you are seriously thinking about selling your car, I'm going to have to beat your ***! The only situation in which you would avoid the beating is if you immediately replace it with another Alfa race car. And by the way, if you want even more pressure for Chicago, just think how you are going to feel with all of us having fun on the track and you watching. I'm betting you will find a way to get the car there. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

Eliseo...
If I'm gonna be there, you better be there as well. All these years you've been giving me crap about not coming out there and now that I more than likely am, you are gonna be on the sidelines? C'mon bro...

The curbs were still new then and very high.
Unfortunately the 2-wheeling wasn't due to using the curbs though...
It came back down OK, but it was doing it every lap.
These days the curbs are flattened and people straight-line the corner and don't even get a warning.
