I've never really been all that fond of 164s.... but that... wow.. That's a beautiful beautiful car, and I bet it drives beautifully.

Oh-ohhhhhhhhhhh...

From that first photo, you know this is going to be a special 164. Just look at that paintwork!

You need to get a set of wheelbolts chrome-plated. I know they weren't chromed originally, but you have to do SOMETHING about those rusty bolts!

My goodness, I just don't know how you've bought this. I thought you just bought a white 164 at an auction just the other day?! Is there no 'other half' in your life?

And my friends give me grief for buying a 164 when I already had two other cars...

I think there is only one Q4 in NZ. I'd just love to import one (it's not on LTNZ's Frontal Impact Compliance List) and tell the LTNZ to shove the passenger's side airbag up their a***, and deploy it...

Alex thanks for the kind words. The car does have a passenger side air bag. I did buy a 164 at the auction (that car is now sold) and I will have many more Alfa's after I recover from this purchase. Matter of fact I am going to the SF bay area to look at a 1978 Alfetta sedan tomorrow. My other half has no say on my car deals. I will not hear of it I buy and sell cars for a living. As my Mexican car dealer buddy tells his wife "me business is me business". Enough said.

Oh and most of my friends think I am nuts for buying these Alfa's and not Mustang's and other American junk cars! One friend told me that I could of bought an Escalade or a Harley for what I paid for my new baby but that does not make me happy.

I store her in my shop and keep wanting to go check on her to make sure shes ok over there (2 blocks away).
