The cams that TJ bought from me for this car, make a pretty good difference (GTA Stage I) - especially around - and above - 4100 to 4300 rpm where they start to come in... (Low-down grunt was also higher in my estimation.)
I have some more Stage I and then some Stage II sets in a crate as we speak (that I will be clearing through customs this week!)
Let's not hijack Lenny-boy's thread here though - please email me at

Yes - a 3.7 litre in this thing would be amazing!
One thing in particular about this car is that it has the later-generation Motronic version software already (v3.4/.7 - later than the LS and Q cars) with the hot-wire pass-through MAS air sensor tube!
No crapper-flapper AFM - VERY sweet! This car IN PARTICULAR will fly once it gets the UniChip and dyno-mapping! Lenard, what you need now is that UniChip upgrade and their dyno-tuning! Look on-line and see if there is a dealer near you in Sac.
Somebody asked the question about performance with the cams - 212-214 consistently at the wheels (at sea-level) from a stock internals 164 LS/Super 24 valve with only the 44mm Q intake runners, our Stage I cams and the UniChip added!
