I was tour guide for my parents as we visited Ortona, Italy where my grandfather was wounded at Casa Berardi in WW2. I rented a Giulietta from Europcar in Rome and drove to the Adriatic and lovely Ortona. Driving impressions were very positive. It was a diesel and very well powered. It was very strange though to get a shift warning light at 3000 rpm. Still the car had no problem in the mountains and had a nice growly note. I had to beg the lady at the Europcar desk for this one, but I think she appreciated that I had to have an Alfa. We stopped at an Agritourismo to have dinner. Lovely place, people, food. We ate and drank local food and wine all night and the bill was only about $50. Incredible. Here's a few pics of the Alfa at sunset.
