The invasion continues...

This is my alfa romeo... It's a alfa 90 vith a 2.5 liters vg engine... It's a luxurious version of the 75 or as you call it milano... The car is almost in mint condition but it needs a new paintjob... I'm gonna take care of that this year...

Cool! It looks like a 75 all growed up.

Actually come to think of it, this luxo-cruiser remind me more of a grown up Alfetta sedan.

I thought the Alfa 90 came out before the Alfa 75, I also thought that the Alfa 90 was a styling house design (Bertone, Pininfarina?) and the Alfa 75 was in house?

Alfa 90s are quite rare down here and as they do not have fuel injection but instead 6 Solex downdraught carbies ... they are known as a mechanics nightmare. I assume this would be wrong as carbs really do not give as much trouble as they are blamed for, they just need to be cleaned out every now and then.

Looks like a nice one

Pete

I think you mix the Alfa 90 with Alfa 6 (sei)

Alfa 90 is an Alfa 75 with softer suspension and a different look. The motors are the 2.0 4 cyl or 2.5 v6 from the 75.

Alfa 6 had six carburators, and is earlier than the 90.

Yes you could very well be right. I do not know of the Alfa 6 (or maybe I do , just thinking of the wrong name).

I can remember reading an article comparing the 90 to the 75 and they indicated that the 75 was styled inhouse and the 90 by Bertone ...

Will have to check what an Alfa 6 is

Pete

The alfa 6 had carbs and was developed before the 90 and the 75... The 90 is indeed designed by bertone and is based on the alfetta and not the 75 because it came out earlier then the 75... It had some very intressting features like fully digital dashboard and lots of extra stuff in the QO version like mine... It's equiped with ac, powerstering, electric windows and seats and lots of other extras... The thing about mine is that all the electricall stuff works which is very non-alfa-typicall so to say

We had a discussion here on the Alfa 6 but I cannot locate the thread. The only message I found is here . It's regarding the 6 transmission.

Does anyone have any 6 pictures to post here? I wonder if Alfa could sue Mazda?
