This is my '69 Spider Veloce. Purchased 12 years ago from first owner. Car came complete with all history, including documents of first oil change. My dad and I drove it home from New York ( to Chicago) and it was like driving a new car.

This is my '81 GTV6, first Alfa purchased. This was my son's first ride home from the hospital. While restoring the car and removing all plastic skirts, original Alfetta skin revealed beautiful details. I decided to re-display the original details while keaping the more aggresive GTV6 look. European stainless bumper makes car look much smaller too.

"Super" progress. I have decided to restore the stock 1600 engine in lieu of swapping for a larger unit. I figured that if it was good enough for a TZ, it would be fine for my Super. The engine has been ported, polished and balanced. On the intake side, big valves and an 11 mil cam installed. On the exhaust side, stock valves and European 10 mil cam. I plan on keeping the original feel of the car, I would hate to change something that is already special. Car was original "Alfa Green", seller re-painted it "British Racing Green", I hate to repeat the word "British" therefore plan on not using it again. I'm searching for a great combo. I love "beatle bayly's" interior, I just need to search for an exterior color.

I created nothing, it's real metal hidden beneath all the plastic. Giugiaro was on to something, it's all there, Alfa choose to hide it. Note the striking look when viewed from side elevation.

Of course, we both have something in common. So tell me, how did you end up with a 1750 in a '72 GTV? Did you replace the 2000 engine? Maybe you were born in '72 and own a 1750 GTV.

I took these pics at CAROC's 2005 Autobahn Track event. What a great site to see all the GTV's together. This is where CAROC will be hosting the 2008 National Convention track event at. We hope to see many more GTV's then.

Well the earlier bodies differed from the later ones and I definitely don't have a fron-end like that.

I too was surprised at the sheetmetal I found. You are right, the earlier cars cowel goes back from the nose towards the oil pan. On the GTV6, it is nicely boxed-out.

Beautiful cars sir, it also appears you go first class and spare no expense to make them right. You have your own small museum at your home!
