Giulia pick-up? Alfetta pick-up? 164 pick-up?
From heaven, Mr. Nicola Romeo looks down and cries....
Ciao

Just because it can be done, doesn't make it a good idea.

One of our local NWARC members is converting one of his Supers into a pickup.

I saw a Guila pickup somewhere in Berkely here... why the hell would you take a thing of beauty and turn it into an ugly pick up truck and try to sell it for a lot of money?

I remember a Giulia TI pick-up back in the late 70s or early 80s in Zurich, Switzerland. It was the delivery truck of the Mercedes importer. Using and Alfa for delivering parts to repair Mercedes cars is sort of ironic, isn't it? I wish I had taken a picture...

Yep, one-off job. Nice one, the builder does amazing stuff with sheet metal, check out this completely restored Alfasud Giardinetta. It was seriously rusty when he started.

I´m the one ! ???
-who did build that Giulietta Delivery. Best car I ever had. Sold it recently.
It is no pity to build a van of such a car. = comes to be used instead of going to boot hill. Everybody knows that is the other possibility. It´s almost impossible to get anyone interested to buy a rusty Giulietta. I do not understand that since I think that is one of the best alfa ever built. Not least as it is a 116-car. And the design is years ahead of all others on the market at that time. I def. prefer the early ones without the electr.panel and with the beautiful clothing. I also did build some Sud - specials, but they vere not very beautiful. But you have to learn on something. ...
But OK - I would think twice before I started on a Giulia. At least a Sedan would be hard to start cutting in. The other ones - GTV - ar so many so....but no.
But I can feel somewhere inside I will start on a new such project soner or later. Be careful out there where you park your little darling and lock your garage at night !

The same could be said for your Chop Top GTV.
