As promised here some pics of my junior in a famous Dutch landscape with winmills and ****....I took her out yesterday on a beautifull autumn day.....Perfect!!
There is no real reason for it, besides that in the NL there are ways to locate an owner via a license plate. However this car is not parked where I live, paranoia with regard to privacy keeps me blanking out the license plate. I agree that it would look better without a plate though...but that is not allowed in the NL, in contrast to some states in the USA.
I have to admit that I try to take pictures the way she is at her best...If I post some pics of the bad parts you would see....but I wont...haha. You dont take pictures of women with sleepy heads early in the morning either do you.....
When my car is going in the spring, I'll try to take a shot in front of Pepe's Apizza. Best landmark I can think of around here. (Reviewer once wrote "If God is Italian, as is widely rumored, this is where he goes for lunch.")
Excellent shots Charles! Thanks for the new desktop wallpaper!
I've been wondering, how do you all get such large detailed pictures under the 100k barrier? Is it all in the digital camera? Or have the pictures been 'toned down' using a photo editor?
I use the canon powershot G5 (5 megapixel)
If I select lowest pixels and highest compression you get the smaller pictures like in my previous thread...they are 50k or something. The ones with the windmills were made with a little more pixels, resulting in bigger pics, however they are over 100k and cannot be posted, so I reduced quality a little with photoeditor, resulting in a size just below 100k....
Enjoy the wallpaper!
Charles
