I wish you didnt get rid of her as well. I would have liked to see that one. The paint and the way she is sitting is awesome!

Rim

Hi Anthony!

What kind of alloy wheels are those?
I've seen them quite a few times but don't know their "name".

They are really nice.
Thx.

BTW, she looks like she just rolls off the factory.

The one that got away

Nice ride Anthony! Did you remove the Bertone emblems and side markers? Nice ride height too. Shorter springs & shocks?

Yeah, what kind of rims are those? The stars look too deep to be Cromodora Daytonas.

THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

I dunno who made the wheels but the model was "Challenger" and were sold by AR Ricambi a while back. I was going to get Panasport's but they were blowing these rims out at the time for $95 each. I bought the very last set they had. I just removed the side markers, the bertone badge is onlt on the passenger side. I threw Koni shocks on it as well as new Shankle springs which were cut to my liking. I just got another burgundy 74 which I will be making nicer than that. We stripped that car down to the shell and had it sand blasted. Next up is paint. I am going to do it the same except for I will throw twin Weber's on it and 14x7 Panasports.
Anthony

Challenger Wheels

The wheels are by Performance Alloy Wheels in Oz. Try http://www.performancewheels.com.au/. They weigh about 14 lb and have an offset of about 23 mm. They don't fit very well over the lip on the rear wheel hubs of the 105/115 cars so they have to be machined a bit. Maybe Ricambi did this before they sold them to Alfa owners. I have heard that the alloy used is a bit soft and that they bend easily. Still, it's a nice looking wheel. I have a set but without caps but I have been unable to find a current US distributer and I get no response from Performance Wheels when I e-mail them.
