OK Alfa Lovers This May come to the US. Whoa!
This is a picture of the New Alfa Romeo Diva. I believe its a few steps behind on production with the New 8C. I think Alfa needs cars like these to really match the "assumed" status the US market has for Alfa. to heck with Mercedes and BMW. Go for that Farrari and Porsche market. The name alone is (if not more) prestigous. You got to admit, this is a beautiful car. Enjoy

This is the Sbarro Diva, so no real Alfa Romeo. Engine and drivetrain are from Alfa.
So the chances of this becoming the next production Alfa are very, very small sadly. I think it looks great! Good modern interpretation of the 33 Tipo Stradale.

Pretty car. Awful name. When I think "diva" I think of some of the sopranos that I've known (I've done volunteer (and a little paid) work with an opera company for going on twenty years). A joke our director told me:
Q. What's the difference between a soprano and a pit bull?
A. Make-up and accessories.
(This is, of course, a gross generalization and I've worked with some wonderful people that also happen to be sopranos, but the last thing I'd want the name of a car to do is give an impression that it's hot-headed and tempermental . . .)

diva
"Diva" translates to english as "Exige".
Hell if lotus can sell 50k street racers with jap engines, why cant Alfa sell a baby enzo? at least it would sound good, smell good and charm the honeys! Really do we ever want more than that?

Yikes.
A candidate for worst possible song to get stuck in your head is the "my heart will go on" song (that might be the title).
Second worst is the Knight Rider theme. Been stuck in my head all day for some reason...

every pic thus far gave me the impression the car was "thin" or hollow" looking if that makes any sense... like i could see right through the car..
But that first pic there with the subdued lighting, and what looks like a more subdued red is starting to make me a believer... This looks like it could be a hot Lotus Exige competitor....how does it handle?
