Thanks a lot to all of you guys for the kind comments.
Tomorrow will be my birthday and you’re already making this special day even brighter.
In order to answer the question regarding the gas struts, I have effectively doubled it
(using two original ones) as you can see on the attached picture.
This way, the opening speed of the rear hatch doesn't suffer the speakers extra weight.

are you going to put the alfa script thats missing on the rear?... a very elegant solution with the speakers by the way, and happy birthday.

Attention to detail everywhere, perfection!
I hope more people follow your lead and restore the GTV6, one of the best and most underated cars of the 80's.

Once again, thank you for all the nice comments.
For sure, it is the first time i receive so many kind messages for my birthday.
(WOW, that's great feeling !)
In order to answer the question concerning the Alfa script that is missing on
the rear of the car, you have to know that I've moved it from the rear hatch
to the doors area.
Now the GTV6 script appears to the eyes of anyone opening the (driver or
passenger) door as you can see on the attached picture.
it's nice, isn't it ?

Absolutely incredible work of art! It looks many times better than when it left the factory!!! You have intense attention to detail.
Two questions:
1. Headlight washers: Are these standard or did you put them on?
2. Why are there two mirror adjustment 'joysticks' on the center console?

Dear quadrifoglio,
Here is what I can tell you in order to answer your questions :
The headlight washers are absolute original and work fine. That comment
may sound strange, but this accessory is out of order on most GTV6 I know.
The two switches are there to drive the external powered mirrors.
In 1984, the Swiss GTV6 were delivered (as standard) with left hand side
powered mirror and "single" switch only. I gess the right hand side one
was proposed as an option and that makes the "double" switch hard to find
(at least in Switzerland).
Because I have installed the missing mirror on my car, I simply add an
other "single" switch to drive it.
It is a pleasure to answer your questions as it makes me think that some
members of this forum are looking at the pictures I sent very accurately.
Best regards.
