GTV at Summit Point SVRA Races

Participated in my first vintage races-SVRA at Summit Point. Great event! There was lots of track time, friendly officials & racers, and orientation by the always knowledgable and entertaining Peter Krause.

Below are some photos.

Very good looking GTV... always battling with the 02's and 911's huh?

Thanks for the pictures Bill, I am sorry I missed the fun. Great looking car you are driving.

Anthony,
Porsches at Vintage races are like flies at a picnic ! You know they will be there but hope there won't be too damn many.

Summit point

Fun...few things are more fun than an Alfa on a race circuit.

I battled the white BMW all weekend. I beat him in the Saturday race but he got me back on Sunday.

The Porsche in the photo was an interesting car. It was built by the factory in 1969 for the Brumos/Gregg team for Sebring and Daytona.

I woudn't know if the 911s block, I'm not fast enough to overtake many of them!

Bill
