I have just bought a 105 series 1600 GT Junior too, and just wondering why are they different? Mine has twin headlights, silver grill, and no centre console, and no recess along the front of the bonnet like yours. Any ideas?

Some photos would be great help.Your description leads me to a Gt 1300 Junior unificata (1974-1976).Identical to 2000GTV (1971-1976).But why no centre console?A conversion maybe?Could you post the first digits of the chassis number? It's the safest way to identification.

I have a feeling it's a GT1600 (That I didn't think have a centre console), and then had a GTV2000 motor put in it at some stage. It has low back seats to. Apparantely came from Holland in 1988 to New Zealand (LHD) as an import.

Yes.The interior is from a Gt Junior.Could be from a second series Gt 1300 Junior stepfront (105 series)or from a Gt 1300/1600 Junior (115 series). They are all the same.No centre console. The steering wheel is optional.
Front lights and grill from 2000GTV.
Nice colour (verde oliva metallizzato).

I have been having a look around on the net at some others, and there are some GT1600's and some GTV's with the same grill, so I am a bit confused. Is there any sites that give detailed descriptions of the models that came out?
I thought the 1300's all came out with a stepfront, but could be wrong.
The vehicle has a 2000 engine with DeLorto's, so there may have been a bit of parts swapping going on at some stage. It is in transportation at the moment, so will find the chassis number in due course.

Could we have your chassis number? It would spread some light to your car`s origin.
Takis.
