Yeah "Sport Sedan"
Unless you are talking about the little bump on the rear fender. That's the radio antenna. Otherwise not sure what the question is.

Now that is a proper "Sporty"!!
Janno, sir, we require details. How did you make your car look like a high performance Milano that ducked the "weird" pen. Springs, etc. etc. We need to know!
(OK, OK don't beat me up - I actually like Milanos too, but gee, Janno's car looks so clean.)

I think KAS ment "Sport sedan". It's a feature you don't see on the European Alfetta's.
For Janno's project take a look at his car on the Dutch Alfa forum.

Yes, i mean `sport sedan. `Never heard about it. It`s indeed very unusual on European Alfetta`s. And for sure it`s a sport sedan!

The nomenclature for the 116 series cars here in the US is always confusing to many. The different names for the coupes have been discussed in other threads, but in the US the "Sport Sedan" name was used when the body switched over to the style with the rear hinged hood (bonnet) in (correct me if I'm wrong) 1978. Prior to that it was simply the "Alfetta".
Earlier this year, I was given a 1977 Alfetta Sedan, Phoenix car since new, sitting since 1989. The amazing thing is that the car is basically unmolested and has every little piece of emissions gear still on it, right down to the crossover tube to the exhaust manifold (US spec cars with Spica only, BTW in case you folks in the rest of the world are wondering what I am talking about) and the little plastic clips on the valve cover. But, like any Arizona car that has been sitting for 17 years, it is totally baked, and all the rubber and vinyl and paint are shot. But, the body is super straight and solid and all the trim is present. I suppose I'll get to this thing one of these days once my 102 restoration is done.

I thought long and hard about painting my Alfetta black about 5 years ago but i was worried that i wouldnt get it staraight enough. So i chickened out and did the original red. Well the body turned out great and seeing that Alfetta makes me wish i did paint it black! But must be hard to keep clean tho.

Is that Janno's car? Different wheels. I like the 5 spoke ones better. What are they? What size and what size tires?

Anyone know the whereabouts of my Alfetta?
I would like to find it and buy it if it is still intact.

Not really black, it was Ambassador Red, very cool color. The wheels were painted with BBS wheel paint. They looked like they were originally anodized gold, not painted, the original finish looked more like a gold stain.
