I hate to say it man, but is it even worth restoring this baby? If it holds some nostalgic value then I guess, but it seems like a hell of alot of work (and a ****load of money to match). Just my 2c, which you should ignore.

Josh

Good luck Rogue, but I think that car is . . . . . pardon the expression . . . . . toast. At best it's a parts car. I can't imagine what it's going to cost to restore it. Keep in mind that the fire has probably destroyed the integrity of a lot of the metal. I hope you've done a serious estimate of what it's going to cost to restore vs. the value at the end . . . . and that's assuming it comes out good.

I think you're money (way) ahead if you just go out and buy a solid body shell.

I know I'm rainin' on your parade, but that car does not look like a restoration candidate to me.

Well unfortunately the car has allot of value to me. It was my first car and was left to me by stepfather when he died. The front of the car was pretty much untouched by the fire. One thing that I think saved me was that the car didn't have much of an interior. It was already gutted for racing so not much to burn. Just really the seats. I think what really burned was all the Fiberglass that used for the fenders. Well once I get a garage and start digging into the car I will find out how bad it really is.

The rims are made by Melber I think from Australia. I once saw them on a sweet vintage race 71 gtv at a Burgermaster. It had a lot of cool period parts low back momo seats, side exit exhaust & to top it off a roots supercharger. I think it still had spica. He took me for a ride & it blew me away probably the fasted Alfa I've ever been in. Makes Keith's from Ralli Round of Seattle ( turbo 74 ) that he said was the fastest Alfa in the NW look like a Fiat 600. If any body has any pics of a supercharged gtv with spica please post them. Anyway they are nice rims.
